Lowery "Larry" Kent

TREMONT – Lowery "Larry" Kent, 68, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born Nov. 27, 1945, to the late Gilmore and Shirley Evans Kent in Birmingham, Ala. He retired from NTN-Bower, in Hamilton, Ala., after 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, watching Atlanta Braves baseball, New Orleans Saints and Mississippi State football. He also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Ryan Ary officiating. Senter Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Kent of Tremont; son, Sean (Shelly) Kent of Fairview; daughter, Heather (Jamie) McFadden of Tupelo; two grandsons, Jordan and Dustin Kent, granddaughter, Layla Kent; and brother, Charles (Carol) Kent of Searcy, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilmore L. Kent; his mother, Shirley Kent; a brother, Johnny Kent; and a sister, Mildred Stone
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Senter Funeral Home.
