DENNIS – Mary Louise Epps Flurry, 93, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka. She was born to William ""Bill"" Epps and Dollie Bostick Epps. She attended Dennis United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and an employee of Blue Bell of Belmont.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with Ronnie Goodwin, Jimmy Moody and Ron Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery at Dennis. Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one son, William Richard Flurry (Janet) of Nesbit; one daughter, Janice Moody (J.W.) of Belmont; four grandchildren, Richard Bradley Flurry, Margaret Jane Phelps (Dave), Jimmy Moody (Amanda) and Alicia McGee (Michael); eight great-grandchildren, Claire Flurry, Jessica Flurry, Ashton Phelps, David Keith Phelps, Kaleb Moody, Nicole Moody, Maryana McGee and Austin McGee and one great-great-grandchild, Meika Dodge.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Freed Flurry; and four brothers, Ray Epps, Chester Epps, Leon Epps and Vernon Epps.
Pallbearers will be Brad Flurry, Jimmy Moody, Kaleb Moody, Michael McGee, Dave Phelps and David Keith Phelps. Honorary pallbearer will be Austin McGee.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. today at Deaton Funeral Home in Belmont.
