AMORY – Thomas Matthew Watson, 29, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was born Sept. 25, 1984, to Tony Eugene Watson and Tammy Langley Watson in Houston, Texas. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County and was a member of North Mississippi Worship Center.
Services were 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at the North Mississippi Worship Center with Bro. Dudley Nash, Mrs. Lucy Nash and Bro. Dave Dowdy officiating. Burial was in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his parents of Amory; two brothers, Ben Watson and Jake Watson, both of Amory; his paternal grandmother, Ann Watson of Aberdeen; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Long Trenor of Aberdeen; three aunts, Teresa Spencer (Jackie) of Amory, Tiffany Pruitt (Lamar) of Aberdeen and Penny Fair (Jeff) of Aberdeen; one uncle, Mike Watson (Kay) of Aberdeen; and 10 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Finley Watson and William O. Langley, and step-grandfather, Don Trenor.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Watson, Justin Pruitt, Brett Spencer, Trey Spencer, Bro. Jimmy Winders and Jonathan Clouse.
