TUPELO – Mozella Lorene Moore passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014, at her home after a long illness and surrounded by her family. She was a member of North Green Street Church of Christ.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 10, at North Green Street Church of Christ. Bro. Dan McCollum will officiate. Burial will be in Porter's Memorial Park. Grayson-Porter's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her two sons, James (Paula) Moore of Daytona, Fla., and Joe (Annie) Moore of Tupelo; four daughters, Edna (Donnie) Orr of Verona, Mary Moore of Daytona, Fla., Clara Isby of Tupelo and Wanda (Wayne) Cummings of Verona; a lifelong special friend of the family, James Brown of Tupelo; 52 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bennie Moore; a daughter, Flossie Morrow; a son, Bennie Moore Jr.; and three brothers and one sister.
Viewing will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at J.W. Porter's Chapel. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time Saturday.
