Nellie Mauney Obituary
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at Ripley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donnie Schuman and Bro. John Huggins officiating. Burial will be in Tippah Memorial Garden.
She is survived by three sons, Anthony Reed Mauney (Patsy) of Ashland, Timothy Allen Mauney (Molly) of Dumas and Jackie Glen Mauney of Victoria; two sisters, Elaine Hill Mauney of Ripley and Linda Hill Gray (Lynn) of Dumas; one brother, Lavon Hill of Dumas; five grandchildren, Michael McCallum (Melissa), Kelley Crew, Katie Wilbanks (Craig), Rachel and Jillian Mauney; eight great-grandchildren, Nolan, Ryan, Logan and Shaun Wilbanks, Ashley and Carley Hodges, Katelyn McCallum and Ashlyn Nichols; one great-great-grandchild, Addison Scroggins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Wallace, Chad Jordan, Stanley Rolfe, Tom Mauney, Jeffrey Gray and Steve Rumsey. Honorary pallbearers will be Nolan, Ryan, Logan and Shaun Wilbanks, Ashley and Carley Hodges, Katelyn McCallum, Addison Scroggins, Ashlyn Nicklos, Steve Short, Danny and Don Jeanes, Tom Mauney, Greg Sampson and Leonard Lester.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Shelton Reed Mauney; two brothers, Duane (Duke) Hill and Bonnie Hill; one sister-in-law; and one brother-in-law.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. today Friday at Ripley Funeral Home.

Sorry to hear about Mrs. Mauney's death. She was a great lady and was very good to my family. She will be missed by many. Wish I could have been there to express my sympathy. Afraid to travel because of the weather.
