TUPELO – Timothy Alan Weathers, 52, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at Darlington Oaks Hospice after a long illness. He was born Aug. 17, 1961. He was a trained EMT and police officer and previously worked in civil defense in Rock Island County, Ill. He was a member of the Northeast Mississippi Radio Amateurs and the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 120 in Silvis, Ill. He previously worked for K&C Repair and Reconditioning in Silvis, Ill., and recently did repair jobs in the Eggville community. He was a member of Tupelo Free Will Baptist Church and actively attended Union Grove Family Worship Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Ryan Napalo officiating. Burial will be in Tishomingo City Cemetery.
Survivors are his mother, Virginia Weathers, of Tupelo; one brother, Paul Weathers of Bettendorf, Iowa; three sisters, Neta Sparks (Jerry) of Davenport, Iowa, Sandy Spears of Gadsden, Ala., and Renee Willard (Dennis) of Saltillo; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Paul Weathers Jr., in 1998; and his grandparents.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Northeast Mississippi Radio Amateurs.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
