OKOLONA – Wallace Pulphus, 65, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at his home. He was born March 9, 1949, to George Pulphus Sr. and Annie Bet Bowens Pulphus. He was a 1966 graduate of Fannie Carter High School. He was a member and deacon at Zion Spring Church. He was a former employee of Futorian and Lifestyle.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 9, at Zion Spring Church with the Rev. John Cox officiating. Williams Memorial of Okolona is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Annie Fields Pulphus of Okolona; sons, Wallace Pulphus Jr., Mark Pulphus (Jennifer), Derrick Pulphus, all of Okolona, Joshua Pulphus (ShaRonda) of West Point; daughters, Barbara (Jessie) Lee of Shannon, Tonia (Jimmie) Patterson of Prairie; sisters, Yvonne Gunn of Okolona, Mildred Knowles (Ron) of Houston, Texas, Margaret (Norris) Bishop of Jackson, Barbara (Bernard) Lloyd of Dallas, Texas, and Brenda (Randy) Burnette of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Lloyd Pulphus of Wisconsin, Willie Walter Pulphus (Linda) and Gene Pulphus (Gloria) of Woodland; and 14 grandchildren.
