JACINTO – James Thomas Wheeler, 85, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, at his home. He was born Aug. 25, 1928, to Thomas ""Buck"" Osborn and Ammie Leo Nora Hendrix Wheeler. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Hilltop Church of God. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing bluegrass music.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today, March 17, at McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville with Bro. Donald McCoy, Bro. Ricky Hutson and Bro. Mike Hutson officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Church of God Cemetery.
Survived by his wife of 68 years, Agnes Wheeler; one son, Thomas Harry (Donna Marie) Wheeler of Jacinto; one brother, Joseph O. Wheeler of Jacinto; two granddaughters, Tracy Wheeler Whirley of Corinth and Kristy Wheeler (James) Yarbrough of Booneville; and three great-grandchildren, Kristen Whirley, Breanna and Briar Yarbrough.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Scottie Joe Wheeler, Joe Wheeler, James Yarbrough, Ellis Long, Leon Burcham and Mike Epperson.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home.
