TUPELO – Margaret Ann Dixon, 58, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born to the Oscar and Hettie Lou Lumpkin in Shannon. She professed a hope in Christ and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at N.L. Jones Chapel with the Rev. Jack Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Warren Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Paul Dixon; two children, Greg (Carla) Dixon of New Albany and Lola Falona Dixon of Tupelo; brothers, Tommie (Linda) Collier, Ronnie (Marianne) Collier, both of Ann Arbor, Mich., John Thomas Collier of Shannon, John (Earlene) Lumpkin and Rommie Jones, both of Tupelo, Joseph (Lovetta) Jones of Gary, Ind.; sisters, Gloria Lyles of Verona, Rochelle Douglass of Tupelo, Eloise Hayden of Three Rivers, Mich., and Annie Mae Martin of Kalamazoo, Mich.; an aunt, Cora Bolton of Chicago; a brother-in-law, Willie Dixon; a sister-in-law, Wilma Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marcus Montez Dixon.
Visitation will be 3 until 6 p.m. today with family hour from 5 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
