BOONEVILLE – Randel Gene Kendrick, 61, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Magnolia Regional Hospital. He was born April 22, 1952, to Bondy and Lois Kendrick. He was a Mississippi Army National Guard veteran and a member of Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on cars.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 20, at McMillan Funeral Home with Minister Donald Green officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Derek Kendrick (fiancée, April) of Booneville and Clint (Holly) Kendrick of Tupelo; four sisters, Othella (William) Floyd, Kathleen Tucker, Becky Kendrick and Gail (John Wayne) Eaton, all of Booneville; three brothers, Lee (Eloise) Kendrick and Darrel Kendrick, both of Booneville, and Joe (Deborah) Kendrick of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Gail Taylor Kendrick; his parents; one sister, Jane Cox; and four brothers, James Clayton Kendrick, George Kendrick, David Kendrick and Preston Lee Kendrick.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home and until service time on Sunday.
