GOLDEN – Lucille Hammock Beam, 88, died Friday, May 23, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born in Alabama to James Andrew and Bertha Jane Hammock. She was employed by Golden Manufacturing, Lance Garment and several other factories in the area. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 26, at Antioch Baptist Church in Golden with Bro. Jimmy Sartin and Bro. Eulon Prueitt officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay, Ala. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, James Vuin Beam of Golden; two sons, Johnny Beam (Brenda) of Golden and Robert Beam (Brenda) of Red Bay; two granddaughters, Amanda Lynch (Anthony) and Tiffany Stone (Billy); three great-grandsons, Hunter and Kyler Lynch and Brayden Stone; one step great-grandson, Steven Stone; and one sister, Murlie Mayhall of Golden.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Archie ""Red"" Hammock and Joseph Orbin ""Jim"" Hammock; sisters, Jean Bohannon and Becky McFadden; half-sisters, Bert Griggs and Rosie Thompson; and half-brothers, Walter Hammock and Herman Hammock.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Sinningson, Connie McFadden, Oneal Hammock, Ricky Beam, Terry Beam and Gary Beam.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and the body will lie in state from noon until 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
