MYRTLE – Sylvia Jean Childers Nolley, 73, passed away at Signature Healthcare at St. Francis in Memphis on Monday July 7, 2014. She was born March 24, 1941, in New Albany to the late Oliver Childers and Mary Childers. She was recently retired after a lengthy employment with Stratford/Mohasco Company in New Albany and more recently Albany Industries in New Albany. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.

Her services will be Thursday, July 10, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the United Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Randy Bynum officiating with burial in Cornersville Cemetery.
Survivors include her sons, Houston ""Hugh"" David Speck (Tracie), Jason Nolley and John Nolley; daughters, Carol Speck Cunningham and LeAnne Nolley Rhynes (Michael), all of Myrtle; brothers, David Childers (Jan) of Berryville, Ark., Mike Childers of Ecru and Jamie Childers (Jan) of Memphis; four grandchildren, Adam Cunningham, Danielle Cunningham, Austin Speck and Raina Speck; one great-grandchild, Eva Speck.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert Childers of Myrtle and Ronnie Childers of Memphis.
