TUPELO – Wendy Fay Hunt Moore passed away on August 1, 2014, at the North Mississippi Medical Center surrounded by her family after an extended illness. She was a member of Rising Star M.B. Church and a former employee of Captain D's Restaurant.

Her Life Celebration Service will be held Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at 3 p.m. at Peoples Communty Church with Pastor Willie Thornton officiating. Grayson-Porter's Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be in the Porter's Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband, Leon Moore Sr. of Tupelo; one son, Larry (Laura) Richardson of Tupelo; two daughters, Tamara (Ronnie) Snow of Verona and Charssa Betts of Nettleton; three brothers, Jerry Hunt and Danny (Phillis) Brooks, all of Tupelo, and Jimmy Dale Brooks of Baldwyn; three sisters, Evie Louise Betts of Jackson, Tenn., Brenda Page of Jackson and Vanessa Brooks of Tupelo; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing will be today at 6 p.m. with family and friends hour from 7 until 8 p.m. at J.W. Porter's Chapel. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service on Saturday.
