TROY – Imogene Jamison, 86, of Troy, passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.|
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, at Troy First Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Herndon and Bro. Mark Cayson officiating. Burial will be in Eddington Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors: include four sons, Larry Rutledge (Shirley), Howard Rutledge (Margarette), Roger Rutledge (Rita) and Wesley Jamison; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sons-in-law, Delaine Matthews and Buc Heinztelman.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Wilma Matthews and Shelia Heinztelman; son, Greg Jamison; and two husbands, Malachi Rutledge and Hank Jamison.
Pallbearers will be Danny Rutledge, James Rutledge, Alex Pope, Jake Jamison, Wesley Jamison Jr. and Shane Beecham.
Honorary pallbearers will be the remaining grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
