Bertha Casey Obituary

BRUCE – Mrs. Bertha Casey, 90, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home in Calhoun City. Born Tuesday, January 6, 1925, in Calhoun City, she was the daughter of the late Robert Gray and the late Emma Morris Gray. She was the wife of the late Wallace Casey. She was retired from Calhoun County Nursing Home. She was a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Shelia Crump and husband John of Pittsboro; grandchildren, Blake Crump and Stephanie of Calhoun City, Casey LaFoe and Macon of Nesbitt; great-grandchildren, Trip LaFoe, Macey LaFoe, Katelyn Crump, Colin Crump, and Linley Metts.
She was predeceased by son, Billy Keith Casey; sisters, Elenor Brown and Bobbie Bullard; and great-grandchild, John Coen Crump.
A funeral service will be at 4 p.m. on Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Scotty Bland officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. today, Thursday, May 14, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476 Highway 9 North in Bruce.

Sheila, I am so sorry for your loss! I will miss Aunt Bertha and was so glad I got to be with her for two years each week. Aunt Bertha was a Wonderful Lady! Praying for you and your family!!
