Rose Patterson

Rose Patterson, age 98 of Smyrna, died Wednesday. She was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by parents, Will and Charity Langrell; husband, Jessie Patterson; children, Kenneth Allen Patterson, Walter Lee Patterson and Herschel Patterson.

Mrs. Patterson was a retired cook at David Youree Elementary School and a member of Old Jefferson Church of Christ.

She is survived by sons, Tom Patterson of Murfreesboro and Jessie Patterson, Jr. of Smyrna; daughters, Rose Ann Lannon of Smyrna and Ruby Bowen of Smyrna; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Brother Ron Caldwell and Brother Eddie Arnold officating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, 615-459-3254
