Clyde Wheeler Clemmons, Jr.
Clyde Wheeler Clemmons, Jr., age 78 of Pulaski, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Alvin C. York Veteran's Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.
He was born on February 10, 1934 in Florence, AL. He was a retired veteran of Korea and Vietnam in the United States Air Force.
Visitation Tuesday, December 18th from 4 - 8 p.m. at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home. Funeral service Wednesday, December 19th at 12 Noon in the chapel of funeral home with Bro. Mark Johnson officiating. Burial following service at 3 p.m. in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Murfreesboro, TN. with full military honors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Wheeler and Mallie Davis Clemmons, Sr.; son, Clyde Ricky Clemmons; grandson, Michael Gene Jones and a sister, Imogene Tipper.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Violet Marie Clemmons of Pulaski; daughters, Teresa (Ken) Felker, Mary Ann (Bob) Decker, Brenda (Roger) Short; daughter-in-law, Debbie Clemmons; seven grandchildren; fifteen great- grandchildren; sister, Ruby Hill; brothers, Danny Ray Clemmons, Steve Clemmons; several nieces and nephews.

I worked with Clyde at Chromalox in Murfreesboro around 1974-78. Clyde was a good man. I know his family misses him so much.
