David Gilliam
David Gilliam, age 49 of Alexandria, TN, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was a native of Hendersonville, NC and the son of Gene Gilliam and the late Sally Anders Gilliam. Mr. Gilliam was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Zirconia, NC and was a production engineering manager at Permobile. He previously was operations manager of Dura Automotive in Carthage, TN.
Mr. Gilliam is survived by his partner, Harry Bean of Alexandria, TN; his father and step-mother, Gene and Ann Gilliam; brother, Doug Gilliam and his wife Cathy; a sister, Renee Nolen and her husband Neal, all of Hendersonville, NC; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with visitation from 4 p.m. until time of the service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hendersonville, NC.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Rutherford County P.A.W.S., 285 John R. Rice Boulevard, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
