Brown, James  
James Brown James Edward Brown, Sr, age 68, passed away February 11, 2016 at his residence. He was a native of Davidson County and a resident of Rutherford County. James was a truck driver with Averitt Express. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War and a member of Christian Life Church. James was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Edward and Sophia Mai Brown. He is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Brown; sons, James Edward (Laura) Brown, Jr, Mark Anthony (Angie) Brown, Michael Eugene (Dana) Brown, all of Murfreesboro; daughter, Teresa Ann (Johnnie) Ray; brothers, Clarence Brown, David Brown; sisters, Wanda Clark, Irene, Hammonds, Bobbie Brown; grandchildren, Brandy (Ricky), James, Chase, Caleb, Hannah, Peyton; and great-grandchildren, Anthony and Oliver. Chapel service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Jennings and Ayers with Ron Kairdolf and James Brown, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers.. Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Friday, February 12, 2016 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. Lydell Beverley Mr. Lydell C. Beverley, age 40, passed away Saturday, February 6th. Mr. Beverley is survived by his loving wife, Jelecia Beverley; son, Xavier Beverley; mother, Alveda Beverley; father, Robert N. Beverley; two sisters, Breyana and Brittany Beverley; two brothers, Robert O. (Tara) Beverley and Justin Thomas; Father and Mother In-laws, James and Joyce Jamerson; two sisters in law, Jocelyn (Jeff) Brown and Janetta (Shawn) Mauer. Services for Mr. Beverley will be held Wednesday, February 10th at Nelson & Sons Chapel Murfreesboro 448 East Burton Street. Family Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm with Funeral to follow at 7:00 pm. Baird, Charles L.  
Charles L. Baird Charles L. Baird age 88 of the Statesville Community, died Saturday evening, Feb. 6, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his five children and devoted dog, Molly. He was born Jan. 10, 1928 in Lascassas, TN in the Twelve Corners Community, son of the late Leland Theophilus and Sarah Irene Baskin Baird. Charles was preceded in death by four brothers, Zylo Wilson, Robert "Possum", Dudley and Gairy Baird; sister, Elizabeth Berwick and beloved granddaughter, Grace Lauren Baird. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was employed by the State of Tennessee for 28 yrs. as a nurse and after retirement enjoyed working at several local restaurants. Charles was a member of the Auburntown Church of Christ. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, flowers, raising chickens and spending time with his many friends and family. He was an active member of the Alexandria Senior Citizens, Statesville Grange and Statesville Home Demonstration Club. Charles is survived by his children, Sara (Willie) Patton of Statesville, Larry (Hazel) Baird of Lebanon, Terry (Sonya) Baird of Woodbury, Renee' (Anthony) Hutchison of Morrison and Lisa Baird of Woodbury; sister, Christine Huddleston of Murfreesboro; 10 grandchildren, Josh (Shelly) Patton, Amanda Patton, Matthew "Bert" (Joyce) Patton, John Baird, Lauren Baird, Jeremy (Jana) Baird, Tara Baird Ervin, Holly Baird, Brent and Brandon Hutchison; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews ; dear honorary daughter, Sarah Harrington and his beloved dog, Molly. Funeral services 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. David Dunn and Bro. Robert Amason officiating. Burial will follow at Republican Grove Cemetery in Rutherford County. Visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. till service time on Tuesday. Pallbearers, Anthony, Brent and Brandon Hutchison, Willie, Josh and Bert Patton, Jeremy and Clint Baird. Honorary pallbearers, Luther Greer, Bobby Crook, Claude Wilson Brawner, David Yoest, the Statesville honorary Mr. Baird "Fire & Rescue", and the men and women of the Alexandria Senior Citizen Center.

Brown, Linda Diane Uselton  
Linda Diane Uselton Brown Linda Diane Uselton Brown, age 63 of Murfreesboro passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016. She was a native of Rockvale and daughter of the late William Clifford Uselton, Sr. and Pearlie Mai Jones Uselton. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, William Clifford Uselton, Jr. and T. Carroll Uselton and sister, Margie Faye Uselton Sharber. She is survived by husband, Michael Lee Brown, daughter, Latisha Overall, and grandchildren, Elijah and Ashton Overall, all of Murfreesboro. A celebration of her life will be Monday from 4:00 until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Brown was raised in Rockvale and attended Rockvale School. She had been an employee with General Electric and went on to become owner of Glaze Craze Ceramics. Beyond that, she earned her Master's of Business Administration from MTSU where she taught Management courses. She retired as the Program Coordinator for the MTSU McNair Scholars Program.
