Allen, Margaret Louise McBride  
Margaret Louise McBride Allen Margaret Louise McBride Allen, age 83 of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away into rest on April 10, 2015. She was a retired Registered Nurse with the VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, TN and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Manchester. She was born in Lacey's Spring, Alabama and lived in Viola and McMinnville, TN in her early years. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Isaac Buford McBride and Alma Lucille Rogers McBride; daughter, Sammie Lynn Allen Norman; granddaughter, Lyndsey Marie Norman; brother, Charles Buford McBride. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia A. Moore and her husband Bobby of Manchester, TN and Perri A. Messick and her husband Lonnie of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Shirley A. Durham of McMinnville, TN and Brenda M. Wachter (Larry) of Wilmington, NC; brothers, James H. McBride (Juliette) of Manchester, TN, Johnny D. McBride (Gayle) of Tullahoma, TN and Bobby McBride (Shirley) of McMinnville, TN; six grandchildren, Amanda Faith Anderson, Robert Brett Moore, Spencer Dale Reed, David Lyn Reed, Jennifer Lynn Norman and David Allen Norman; four great grandchildren, Trenten Reed, Avery Moore, Gavin Moore and Isaac Moore; a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation was held Monday evening. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Central Funeral Home with her nephew Eric Durham officiating. Barrett, Elizabeth McElroy  
Elizabeth McElroy Barrett Elizabeth McElroy Barrett, age 101, passed away April 15, 2015. She was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford County, living in the Milton-Porterfield community until moving to Sunnington Assisted Living where she resided for the last five years. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m., at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Lawrence Clark officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her parents, Ollie Elrod McElroy and John Rosser McElroy; sisters, Lois and Rebekkah; and her husband, Howard Stokley Barrett, who died in 1981. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Ann Richardson and husband Allen, and Mina Parker and husband Dan; grandchildren, Dayna Henderson, Tracey Hackney, Joseph Allen "Joey" Richardson; great-grandchildren, Amy Henderson and Danielle Henderson; great-great-granddaughter, Amelia; and other loving family members. Mrs. Barrett was a long time member of Stones River Presbyterian Church and was presently a member of Cripple Creek Presbyerian Church. She was a 1931 graduate of Kittrell High School, a founding member of the Home Demonstration Club, which is now the Family and Community Education Club, and a caregiver and cafeteria worker at McFadden School. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother, and will be remembered for her cooking expertise. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Black, Audrey Rae Wiliams  
Audrey Rae Williams Black Audrey Black, age 48, passed away in Georgia on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. She was born on November 6, 1966 to Ray Williams and Faye Davenport Gordon. She was a teacher at Black Fox Elementary. She was preceded in death by her father and son, Brandon Williams. Survivors include her husband, Barry Black; her son, Vinny Black; daughter, Kaden Black; grandson, Matthias Williams; mother, Faye Gordon and step-father, Frank Gordon, all of Murfreesboro. Two sisters and four brothers also survive. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Murfreesboro Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 1 p.m., in the Chapel of Murfreesboro Funeral Home, with John Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Thyatira Cemetery in Cannon County. Bly, Alta Marie  
Alta Marie Bly Alta "Marie" Goard Bly, age 83, passed away at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital on April 10, 2015. She was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford county. She retired from Samsonite and was a member of the Baptist Church. The family would like to say a special thanks to Eve and G-wing staff at Rutherford County Community Care. Marie was prceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Prudy Goard. She is survived by her husband of sixty four years, Charles Bly of Bell Buckle; sons, Danny (Judy) Bly of Bell Buckle and Jerry (Kim) Bly of Murfreesboro; daughters, Sandra (George) Brown of Murfreesboro, Diane Bly of Lascassas and Cindy Harrell of Lascassas; brothers, Walter Goard of Nashville and Valter Goard of Beech Grove; grandchildren, Tonya Patient, Billy Bly, Charles Bly, Crystal Leathers, Daniel Brown, Roger Baskin, Brian Baskin and Eddie Harrell; six great grandchildren. A Chapel service for Marie will be Monday, April 13, 2015 at 1 p.m. in Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Franklin Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Ann Pickle Smith Bowen Ann Pickle Smith Bowen, age 94, died January 28, 2015 at Adams Place. Mrs. Bowen was a native of Bedford County and was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie McCord Pickle. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Austin Smith and Charles Robert Bowen. Mrs. Bowen was a graduate of Shelbyville Central High School and attended MTSU. She was a member of Murfreesboro Woman's Club and the William Lytle Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was retired from the Veteran's Hospital. Mrs. Bowen is survived by a sister, Frances Kemp and her husband Walter of Murfreesboro; step-daughters, Ann Davis and her husband Toby of Lowville, NY, Juanita Durham and her husband John of Danville, KY; three grandchildren, Logan Murphy, McKenzie Murphy, and Sydney Durham; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Bob Tuttle will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, 893-5151. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church in memory of Mrs. Bowen.
