Annie Sue Bond Phillips

Annie Sue Bond Phillips, age 95 of Murfreesboro, passed away on November 7, 2012 at NHC National Health Care.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County and member of the East Main Church of Christ. She was retired from the Veterans Administration and former co-owner of Roselawn Memorial Gardens with her late husband, Ed Phillips.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Christopher and Mary Dement Bond; husband, Edwin E. Phillips; brothers, Joe Edward and John Thomas Bond; sister, Mary Emma Bond; and great-nephew, Joe Dean Bell.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Lucy Bond of Nashville, Joe Daniel (Jody) Bond of Murfreesboro, John Thomas (Tammy) Bond of Murfreesboro, Laura (George) Bond Caffey of Murfreesboro, Mary Sue Bond (Ron) Persons of Arrington, Jo Anne Bond (Duane) Herbold of Nashville and Mary Bond (Mike) Patterson of Murfreesboro.

Funeral service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in the mausoleum on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10 a.m., with James Lively officiating. Entombment will follow with family and friends serving as Honorary Pallbearers.
