Billy G. McDaniel
Billy G. McDaniel, age 75 of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Mayfield Rehabilitation and Special Care Center after a lengthy illness. A native of Carroll County, Tennessee he was the son of the late Wilford and Odee McDaniel and a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Mr. McDaniel along with his brother Charles were avid gun collectors, loved hunting and all outdoor activities. He retired as a Cleaning Supervisor from National Cleaning Co. at the GTE plant in Chicago, Illinois after 30 years of service. Bill was always happy and loved life.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepson Kenneth Farmer, a grandson Craig Alan Day and two sons in law Chuck Lambert and Michael Thompson.
Mr. McDaniel is survived by his wife Betty J. McDaniel; a daughter Hailee J. McDaniel of Murfreesboro; four stepdaughters Barbara Thompson and Betty Lambert both of Murfreesboro, Kathy (Pete) Parker of Readyville and Donna (Eugene) Hurt of Princeton, WV; a brother Charles McDaniel of Murfreesboro; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Carden, Pete Parker, Larry Tiller II, Rodney White, Matthew Hurt and Eugene Hurt.
Visitation with the family will be Monday, February 11, 2013 from 12 Noon until 1:30 p.m. at the Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Smyrna. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
