James Harold Stewart
James Harold Stewart, age 80 of Murfreesboro, passed away on December 26, 2012 at Glen Oaks Rehab.
He was a native of Davidson County, but currently resided in Rutherford County. James was a retired administrator for the Metro Government and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Emerson N. Stewart, Sr. and Tennie Mae Rucker Stewart; sons, James H. Stewart, Jr., David M. Stewart and Michael L. Stewart; brothers, Emerson N. Stewart, Jr., William Stewart, Charles E. Stewart, Sr. and Murrell Stewart; and sister, Tennie Mae Hittinger.
He is survived by his wife, Clarice B. Somerville Stewart of Murfreesboro; sister, Elizabeth Parker; grandchildren, Jammie Taylor of Murfreesboro, Jenniffer Smith of LaVergne, Michael L. Stewart, Jr. of Murfreesboro and Catrina Bellis of Middletown, OH; and seven great-grandchildren.
Chapel service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10 a.m., at Jennings and Ayers Chapel, with Rev. Mike Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville, with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
