Robert Armond Pickle

Robert Armond Pickle, age 61 of Nashville, TN, passed from this life June 6, 2012.

He is survived by his brother, Glen Pickle of Nashville, TN; sister, Vicki and her husband Alan Hahn; nephews, Aaron and Joshua Hahn of CA; and step brother, Drew Mansfield (Ruth) of Houston, TX; and true friend, Cordella West Crouch.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Selman Pickle (1985); his father, Henry A. Pickle, Jr. (2004) & step mother, Sharon Pickle (2010).

Bob knew the Lord and was a member of Park Ave. Baptist Church in Nashville. He enjoyed participating in weekly in-house bible studies. He is a long time student of the Bible under Pastor Emeritus Bob Mowrey, former pastor of Park Ave. Baptist Church, now pastor of Scottsville Baptist Church.

He served in the U.S. Navy, two years active duty, three years Naval Reserve in Grade E4, and earned the National Defense Service medal. He had a passion for music and sharing it with others.

The family wishes to thank the Vine Hill ministry for bringing the word of God to him and for touching his life in a meaningful way.

Bob will be sorely missed, especially by his only blood brother, Glen. Bob was born in Lakeland, FL and raised in M'boro. He graduated from Central High School, attended MTSU and has resided in Nashville for many years.

He will be laid to rest next to his mom at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in the Garden Of Atonement on October 6th at 1 p.m.
