Drew Delametter, age 58 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away June 25, 2014 in Murfreesboro surrounded by his family.
Born December 4, 1955 in Denver, CO, he was the son of Patricia Delametter and the late John J. Delametter. His family moved to Midland, TX in 1968 and he attended Robert E. Lee High School in Midland, TX and graduated from Yukon High School in Yukon, OK in 1974. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Drew moved to Dallas, TX where he met and married Cathy Montgomery in 1988. They moved to Murfreesboro, TN in 1992 where he was the Vice President of Sales for Samsonite Furniture. In 2009, Drew formed his own company, RFI Worldwide Sourcing, which he continued to operate until the time of his death.
Drew is survived by his wife, Cathy; two daughters, Lauren Sutterfield and her fiancé, Alex Fleming of Austin, TX, and Caitlyn Walker and husband Josh of Fayetteville, TN; mother, Patricia Delametter of Midland, TX; sisters, Cheryl Fagan and her husband La Wayne, Debi Hughes and her husband Paul, and a brother, Chandler Delametter, all of Midland, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
Devoted to the work of spreading the gospel, Drew shared the love of Jesus everywhere he went. He was active at World Outreach Church where he served in many ways and was on the Church Board.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 10 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 12 Noon, at World Outreach Church, with Pastor Phillip Jackson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the men's ministry of World Outreach Church, Murfreesboro, TN.
