I was lucky to have met Helen during the time I was a member of the Alumni Board. She was a happy, fun-filled addition to the group, who always gave her all in support of every endeavor the board pursued. I don't think I every saw Helen without a smile on her face. My prayers are with her family. I know how special she was and how much she will be missed.

Mrs. Bennett taught me a lot about basketball as my coach, but more importantly, she inspired me to be the best that I could be on and off the court. Her enthusiasm and energy was contagious and I will cherish the memories I have of her. I will keep you all in my prayers.

I am so saddened to hear about Helen. We shared a great passion about our "Jetton" ancestors... Was able to see her when she was in town when Mrs. Jaggers was at Stones River Manor with my mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you both,

I will miss talking with Helen about our shared Barton ( and related ) ancestors. We were hoping, when I talked with her last (just about three weeks ago), that she could come to visit and we could explore again. I also treasured the time I taught with her mother, Mrs. Helen Roberts Jetton Jaggers, at Riverdale High School. She was a wonderful teacher and friend.

I was saddened to learn of your Mom's passing. May you find comfort in your faith and in a lifetime of memories.
Mrs. Bennett was an outstanding faculty member during her years as teacher, coach and athletic director at Incarnate Word High School. Her expertise was unequaled as were her enthusiasm and love "of all things SHAMROCK" Not only did she spend endless hour in extra curricular activities she brought your Dad along and he climbed ladders putting up decorations etc. Yes, indeed, she was gift to IWHS.
Be assured of a remembrance in my prayers for your Mom, and for both of you during this sad time of loss.
With deepest sympathy.
