Eunice "E.B." Cotton

Eunice "E.B." Cotton, age 77 of Murfreesboro, died Monday, February 24, 2014.

He was a native of Lewis County, and was the son of the late Marvin and Ethel Effie Turnbo Cotton, and was preceded in death by granddaughter, Sara West and brother, Robert Cotton.

Mr. Cotton was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and had been a member of the Army Reserve. He was a retired insurance investigator and auditor.

Mr. Cotton is survived by his wife of 57 years, Annie Ruth Goodman Cotton; daughters, Rachel Elaine Gregory of Murfreesboro, Kathy West and husband David of Murfreesboro; sister, Linda Dabbs of Hohenwald; grandchildren, SGT Keith Gregory and wife Jaime of South Korea, Andrew Gregory of Murfreesboro, Ryan West and wife Tabitha of Kansas, Steven Gregory of Phoenix, Emily West of Arkansas, Halle West of Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, Anna, Emma, and Abby Gregory.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Richard Lyles, Carl Seigenthaler, and Mark Wrye will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, (615) 893-5151.
