Mary Elizabeth Dabbs

Mary Elizabeth Dabbs, age 95, passed away March 12, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County, a homemaker and a member of the Minerva Drive Church of Christ.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John A. and Mary Tennessee Brandon; husband, James Carl Dabbs; brothers, Palmer Brandon and Gwight Brandon; sisters, Idelle Messick, Mai Cantrell, Maggie Cooper, and Fannie Lowe, grandchildren, Dana Michele Nobles, James Darwin Scott, Denise Soffiantino, Joel David Scott and Mary Glynis Scott, and sons-in-law, J.D. Scott and Carl Heath. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Carlton Scott Heath of Murfreesboro and Shirley J. Nobles of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Darleen Nobles (Brad) Abrams and John Dwayne (Denise) Scott; eight great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

Chapel service will be Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2 p.m., with Ron Harper officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, with family serving as Pallbearers.
