William C. "Bill" Workman

William C. "Bill" Workman, age 75 of Murfreesboro died Thursday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a native of Rutherford County and was the son of the late Perry Brooks and Curtis Smith Workman. He was preceded by his wife Shirley Brandon Workman in 2011.

He is survived by his daughters Carole Marie Marshall and her husband Jeff and Lisa Workman Robert and her husband Brent both of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren Curtis Burrell, Nicholas Pentecost, and Carey Outen.

He retired as Chief Purchasing Officer for Middle Tennessee Membership Electric Corp.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Fred Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
