Mazelle Gannon Stacey

Mazelle Gannon Stacey, age 95 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014. A native of Cannon County, she was the daughter of the late George Wash and Zelmer Rollins Gannon. Mrs. Stacey was also preceded in death by her husband, James Manson Stacey, who died in 1992; a son-in-law, Odell Taylor; a daughter-in-law, Jane Stacey; two brothers, Jesse and S. R. Gannon; and three sisters, Georgia Porter, Sue and Rosie Patton.

Mrs. Stacey is survived by her son, Billy M. Stacey, and his wife Judy; daughter, Betty S. Taylor; brother, Clark Gannon, and his wife Elsie; grandchildren, Terry L. Taylor, and his wife Lisa, Jimmy C. Stacey, and his wife Pam, and Michael Stacey, and his wife Diana; seven great-grandchildren, and six great- great-grandchild, all of Murfreesboro, TN.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Brother Charles Mullins officiating. Visitation will be Friday, two hours prior to service. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, with Terry and Corey Taylor, Jimmy, Mike, Rhett, Chris, and Ben Stacey, and Sam Gannon serving as Pallbearers.

Mrs. Stacey was a member of Kingwood Church of Christ and retired from sales from Woolworths Department Store.

I lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kingwood Church of Christ Building Fund in memory of Mrs. Stacey.
