Ella Frances Howse

Ella Frances Howse, age 79, of Murfreesboro, passed away on May 7, 2012 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native of Smithville, TN but lived in Rutherford County most of her life.

Ella loved her animals, fishing, gardening and sewing. She was a member of the Apostolic Ark Church and a homemaker.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Ada Spurlock Bain.

She is survived by her husband, George Franklin Howse of Murfreesboro; son, Larry (Tracey) Howse of Murfreesboro; daughters, Ada Frances Fleming of Murfreesboro, Judy Fleming of Murfreesboro, Diane (Forrest) Walker of Murfreesboro and Georgie (James) Carr of Decherd, TN; grandchildren, Taylor, Brandon, Lisa, Tracie, Randy, Terry, Christy, Jennifer, Tyler and Fallon; and ten great-grandchildren.

A chapel service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Buford Bain and Jerry Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery with Kevin Elrod, Keith Davis, Cary Henderson, Cary Fogle, Troy Oakley and Brent Fogle serving as active Pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home; 820 South Church St., Murfreesboro, TN 37130. (615) 893-2422.
