Gertrude Singleton Obituary
Gertrude Singleton, age 85 of Dilton Community, died Saturday, November 10, 2012.
She a native of Rutherford County and daughter of the late George L. and Josie Lee Fleming Singleton.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dilton Cemetery. Bro. David Ash will officiate. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
Miss. Singleton is survived by her brothers, John Singleton and his wife Becky of Apex, NC, Richard Singleton of Greenbrier, TN.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Edith Carter, Mary Singleton, Martha Williams and a brother, Pete Singleton.
Miss Singleton was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired employee of Farmer Brothers Insurance Company.

RIP Gertrude You well be missed. Everymorning i would see you tending your cows rain or shine as your neighbor i well mis that alot. A friendly wave and youd be back at work.From heaven i know that you will be looking over your farm with a watchful eye...God Bless you.
