Floyd "Nehi" Leonard

Floyd "Nehi" Leonard, age 74 of Murfreesboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 31, 2012. A native of Murfreesboro, he was the son of the late Carl and Maudie Davis Leonard.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel with Brother Wayne Lankford officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Family and Friends serving as Pallbearers. Former Band Members will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Mr. Leonard is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Upchurch Leonard; daughter, Debbie and her husband Dan Goodwin of Murfreesboro; son, Randy and his wife Claire Leonard of Pelham; son, Ricky and his wife Chrissy Leonard of Murfreesboro; son, Mark and his wife Jeanne Leonard of Lascassas; son, Gary and his wife Sonya Leonard of Murfreesboro; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Tomberlain and Evelyn "Sophie" Tipton Haislip both of Murfreesboro.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Leonard; sister, Willa Dean Leonard.
Mr. Leonard was a member of East Main Street Church of Christ, and retired from Gibson Guitar as an inspector, and was a musician all of his life. He was a 1956 graduate of Central High School.
Memorials may be made to Room In The Inn.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Thursday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, 615-893-5151
