Amos Marcellus McCaslin, age 90 of Murfreesboro, passed away on January 11, 2013 at Alvin C York Medical Center. He was a native of Kansas City, MO, lived in Middle TN for over 30 years, and was a member of the Methodist Church. Amos retired from the Dry Cleaning Industry.
Amos was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Safley McCaslin; parents, Louis and Stella May Brohn McCaslin, and son, Jackie McCaslin.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Mae (Charles) Bennett of Paris, TN, Evelyn Darlene (Ronnie) Shirley of Murfreesboro, Shirley Ann (Kim) Gallion of Murfreesboro; sister, Charlotte (Harvey) Nelson of Denver, CO; 10 grandchildren, Stephanie (Barry) Farmer, Teresa (Jack) Bruce, Jeremy Bennett, Christopher Shirley, Anthony (Charlotte) Shirley, Aaron (Tracy) Rapier, Amelia Rapier, April Rapier, Chad (Paige) McCaslin and Jonathan (Michelle) McCaslin; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 10 a.m., at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens in Tullahoma, TN, with Chaplain Bobby Talbert officiating.
