Marvin Maple Obituary
Marvin L. Maple went to heaven May 26, 2016. He was a native of Byer, Ohio and was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kuykendall Maple and his parents, the late Harold and Mary Manring Maple. Mr. Maple was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a Tool and Die Engineer and moved to Murfreesboro to own Rutherford Tool and Die. Mr. Maple was a former employee of General Electric and retired from Avco Aero-Structures.
Graveside service will be 11:30AM Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery. Malcolm Hedding will officiate. Visitation will be 10:00AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Maple is survived by his daughters, Sherry Dallas and husband, Rusty of Murfreesboro; Patricia Steelman and husband, James of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Donna Scraming, Sandy Howell, and Brenda Trevino all of Michigan; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Maple was a hero to all of his family and friends.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Maple was a great man of integrity, character and a true gentleman. He was our hero and will be missed by all that knew him. Thanks to everyone that came to the visitation and service. That meant so much to our family and was a powerful show of respect for him. I would also like to thank Bubba Woodfin and all the folks at Woodfins Funeral Chapel for a wonderful service and the kind way they take care of everything.
