Kevin TATE Obituary
Born 8 April 1943 passed away peacefully at his home on Monday 22 January 2018. Beloved husband and best friend of Heather. Loved father of Lauren and son-in-law Mike; Fraser and daughter-in-law Ruth; Andy and daughter-in-law Rachel; and daughter Emma. Loved Grandad to Alice, Julia, Will, Samuel, Jake, Phoebe, Benji, Joshua, Jesse and Charlie. Loved brother and mate to Warren. Passionate climate change scientist, New Zealand Royal Society Fellow who wanted a better world for us all. Funeral to be held on Friday 26 January 2018 at 1.30pm, The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North. Please send condolences to the Tate family, c/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.

It was upsetting to hear of Kevin's passing. Kevin and I were colleagues at Soil Bureau in the early to mid 1970's. He was an excellent scientist and a lovely man. My condolences to his family at this sad time.
