Agnes Elizabeth Herbert, a native of Bertrandville, La., and former New Orleans resident died, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father Rosa and Joseph Harris; brothers Ernest, Joseph, and James Harris; sisters Verdia Mae Harris and Hilda Hall. Agnes leaves to cherish her precious memories her children; Valerie Nowell, Paula Turner (Darrell), Yvette Winfrey, Darlene Paulin (Rickey), and Freddie Herbert (Patricia). Two siblings, Margaret Coleman, and Mary Nell Darensbourg; sisters-in-Law, Ethel Lee Williams and Rosa Lee McGalliard;16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; devoted nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Agnes's Funeral Services will be on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5004 Bonnie View Lane, Dallas, Texas, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation at 12:30 p.m. Internment On Monday, April 11, 2016 at DFW Veterans National Cemetery at 10 a.m.
