Arthur "Art" Joseph Scioneaux, Jr. a resident and native of Donaldsonville, passed away on Monday November 11, 2013 in Belle Rose, at the age of 67. Mr. Scioneaux was a former employee of Shell Pipeline for 20 yrs, and then U.R.S. where he retired. He was the owner and operator of Art's Pool Supplies and belonged to St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting with his father and his dogs.

Visitation will be Thursday November 14, 2013 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville and Friday 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial we be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday November 15, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Yi, celebrant. Entombment will be the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Mausoleum.

Survivors include his wife; Theresa LeBlanc Scioneaux, 3 daughters; Cindy Scioneaux Sylvester and husband Chris, Laurie Scioneaux and Ron Murray, and Amy Scioneaux Lagarde and husband Jason.

5 grandchildren; Alexis Scioneaux, Alivia Sylvester, Madeline Sylvester, Peyton Lagarde, and Max Lagarde.

Sister; Karen Scioneaux LeBlanc and husband Ed, brother-in-law; William Warren, Jr., and mother-in-law; May LeBlanc, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Arthur Joseph Scioneaux, Sr. and Lillian Alberado Scioneaux, a sister; Beverly Scioneaux Warren, 2 brothers; Allen Scioneaux and Autry "Gene" Scioneaux, father-in-law; Benoit LeBlanc, and brother-in-law; Raymond LeBlanc.
