Trudye F.LeBlanc was born May 6, 1935 to Crosby Lewis and Carrie Flewellyn. She passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 3:55 pm. She was 78 years young. A native of Monroe and a 57 year resident of Donaldsonville. She attended Southern University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts Degree from Nicholls State University. She was a pillar in her community and always willing to help others in any way she could. She was a member of the Prevost Memorial Hospital Auxiliary (Pink Ladies), Lector, Director of the Youth Lectors and the Jesus Care Ministry of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church. Former and longtime board member of the Council on Aging. She was kind, dearly loved, respected and will be remembered by all.

Preceding her death were her parents Crosby Lewis and Carrie Flewellyn, husband Ulysses Gerald LeBlanc, sisters Barbara Wright and Melinda Rushing and brother Charlie Fluellen. She leaves to cherish her memories: sister Alma Jean Reed; brothers John Robert Williams, Joel Flewellen, Crosby Flewellen, Armond Lewis; dear friends Betty Moore, Claudia Celestine and Eva Augusta and a host of relatives from the LeBlanc, Lawson, Sanders families as well as other friends.
