A native of Donaldsonville and resident of Richmond, Ca., he passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at his resident. He was 68. Visiting will be held at Mount Zion Baptist Church, St Patrick St., Donaldsonville, on Friday, April 8, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Darryl Smith. Interment in Protestant Cemetery in Donaldsonville.
He is survived by his wife, Maude Corney Joseph, two sons, Shaun Joseph and Tremane (Erica) Collier, of Richmond, Ca., two daughters, Vivian (Keith) Givens, Mountain House, Ca., and Michelle (Larry) Matthews, Zachary, La. Six Grandchildren, Shaun, Jr and LaShaunya Joseph, Ricky Coleman, Tremane Collier, Jr, Deandre Bush and Larrelle Matthews. Three brothers, Larry (Jacqueline) Joseph, Plaquemine, La., Gregory and Christopher Joseph, Donaldsonville, Three sisters, Rita Joseph, Sherry (Dale) Dennis and Martha (Austin) Jarvis of Donaldsonville, Two Brothers-in-law, Ricky Buquia and Jerome Corney, Two Sisters-in-law, Saundra Joseph and Catherine Buquia. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by her parents, Israel and Carmelita Joseph, Four brothers, Henry, Israel, Jr, Jerome and Alvin Joseph and one sister, Dianne Joseph.
