Julianelle, Mary Pamella Fletcher
Mary Pamella Fletcher Julianelle passed away suddenly on Monday, October 28, 2013.
Born in Kansas City, Mo., on September 3, 1937, she spent summers in Sister Bay, with her grandparents. In 1954, she moved to Sister Bay, with her parents, Max and Carol Fletcher, who relocated the family there after purchasing Hotel du Nord. Like many in her family, she was known by her middle name. Pam graduated from Gibraltar in 1955 and from Beloit College
in 1959 with a degree in Fine Arts. During summers of those years she worked at her parents' resort.
After college Pam moved to San Francisco. She and her husband owned and operated Image Makers Plus, a commercial photography business, for many years. She was also an elementary school teacher
for several years. Pam was very creative and enjoyed art. Her hand-made greeting cards always brought smiles to family members. She was an accomplished photographer with a camera always at hand. Pam, a warm, loving, kind person with a good sense of humor, made those who knew her or came in contact with her feel comfortable and accepted. She was a special mentor to her grandson Charles and her nephew John.
Pam is survived by her husband, Michael Julianelle; daughter, Carolyn (Tony) Contreras; grandsons, Charles and Michael Contreras; sister, Laura (John) Lijewski; brother, L. John (Leslie) Fletcher; nieces, Alison and Kirsten Fletcher and Alicia Gamble; nephews, Stephen (Anne) and John B. (Thidapha) Fletcher; sister-in-law, Ardis Fletcher; grandnieces, Kelsey Gamble and Lauren and Miranda Fletcher; and grandnephew, Brandon Gamble. She is also survived by her first husband, Roy Ramsing.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, M. Keyes Fletcher.
Visitation at 1 p.m. will precede a 2 p.m. memorial service at the Sister Bay Moravian Church on Thursday, November 21st with interment to follow in the Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Pamella's name may be made to the Church or to the American Heart Foundation.
