Haines, Jeanne M.

Jeanne M. Haines, 84, Green Bay, passed away on February 11, 2014. She was born on May 1, 1929 in Sturgeon Bay to the late Kenneth and Lucille (Dier) Solomon. On June 30, 1948 she married Arthur Haines at the Moravian Church in Sturgeon Bay, he preceded her in death on July 25, 1992. Jeanne was an avid golfer. She loved to go out dancing and was a member of the East Side Moravian Church for many years before its closing. Her family meant everything to her.

Survivors include her children, Sandra (Kevin) Gereau, Green Bay; Scott (special friend, Joni) Haines, Milwaukee, and his daughter, Kayley Rae, Green Bay; Capt. Kenneth (Julie) Haines, Muskegon, MI and his children, Nicholas (LeAnn) Haines, MI, and their daughter, Emmy Rose; Amanda (Dustin) Robertson, IL and their children, Avery Noelle and Maxwell Scott; and Alex Haines, Muskegon, MI; sister, Mary Smuckler, Green Bay; sisters-in-law, Janet Michelson, Green Bay; June Bale, Madison, WI; dear friend, Chriss Achten; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Harold and Russell Haines.

Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Saturday, February 15th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Memorial service 12:30 p.m. Saturday February 15th at the funeral home with Pastor Marian Boyle officiating. Burial of the urn will take place at the Nicolet Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
