Trulon Adams Obituary
Adams, Trulon Y.

SISTER BAY, WI -- With his wife, Marian at his side, Trulon York Adams, 87, passed away peacefully in Apache Junction, AZ on Friday, August 30, 2013. He was born in Nelma, WI, on November 13, 1925, to Beverly and Edith (Powell) Adams. Tru married the former Marian Collins 65 years ago on August 7, 1948, at St. Edward's Church in Racine.

Marian survives him along with his children, Vikki (Jerry) Saballus of Sister Bay, Jim (Andrea) Adams of Sister Bay, Steve Adams of Sturgeon Bay, Jeff (Cathy) Adams of Baileys Harbor, and John Adams of Racine; his grandchildren, Matt and Amy Villalpando and Tyler, Jered, Calie, Kelly and Addison Adams; and his great-grandchildren, Lilli Adams and Isaiah Eliason. He is also survived by a sister, Yvonne Jensen, a brother, Bill, a sister-in-law, Joan Pogorzelski and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mildred and a brother Ralph.

Tru served in the Army during World War II. He was employed as an Electrical Engineer with Dynamatic Corp. in Kenosha until he retired. He then lived in Apache Junction, AZ and in Door County, WI. After his retirement, he worked for many years at Maxwelton Braes Golf Course in Door County. Tru most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Everyone whose life he touched will always carry fond memories of him whether it was watching him dance with Marian at the Sister Bay Bowl, his smile for the early morning golfers at Maxwelton Braes, or just watching him in his glory acting as the Designated Bartender for get-togethers.

A celebration of Tru's life will be held on Thursday, September 12, at 12:00 PM at Stella Maris Church in Sister Bay. The family will greet guests from 11:00 AM until the time of services. A celebration of his life will also be held in Arizona in November. Memorials to one's favorite charity have been suggested by the family.
