Krista M. Mize Krista M. Mize, of Abbeville, passed away early Tuesday afternoon, April 5, 2011, in a Dothan hospital. She was 40 years old. Memorial services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Friday, April 8, 2011, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Dr. Bob Pemberton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 P.M. Friday in the chapel. Krista Mize was a native of Abbeville where she lived most of her lifetime. She graduated from high school in Lawton, Oklahoma. Krista enjoyed singing and participated in the Oklahoma State Choir. Later, she received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Troy University in Dothan. Krista was employed for many years in the restaurant business. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Milton (Sonny) Mize. Surviving relatives include her husband, James H. Stinson, her precious family, Alan Stinson and his daughter, Shanna Gayle Stinson and also Sean Stinson; her mother, Marie Murphy, all of Abbeville; two sisters, Tara Foster and husband, John, Shalimar, FL; and Carolyn Crawford and husband, Tim, Abbeville; a brother, Tracy Cunningham, Abbeville; a nephew, Christopher Pensinger, Auburn; two nieces, Chelsea and Rebecca Crawford, both of Abbeville; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mark and Imogene "Nanna" Stinson, Abbeville and last but not least, Krista's adopted canine child, "Bo Bo".
