Alexis Ann DeFrancesco Obituary
Alexis Ann DeFrancesco of Hartly passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014. She was 22.

Alexis was born January 18, 1992 in Dover, Delaware to Keith and Anthula DeFrancesco.

Alexis graduated from Dover High School in 2010. Alexis played Dover High School varsity field hockey, and varsity soccer. She also played many years for CDSA soccer. Alexis was in the AFJROTC program for four years where she excelled to Group Commander in her senior year, receiving many accolades and college scholarships.

Alexis was employed at Firebirds Restaurant, in Christiana, as a Server and was due to graduate from the University of Delaware December 2014 with a Fashion Merchandising degree, pursuing a career as an assistant buyer. She was a very beautiful, vibrant, fun-loving, cheerful, determined, confident, talented and creative young woman and loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, and loved New York City.

Alexis is preceded in death by her grandfather, Diomidis (Jim) Saloustros.

Alexis is survived by her parents Keith and Anthula DeFrancesco; brother, Joseph DeFrancesco; sister, Gina DeFrancesco; grandparents, Carl and Marlene DeFrancesco; grandmother Gogoula (Joy) Saloustros; aunts Tula Saloustros and Irene Marini; aunts and uncles: Rick and Ann Myers; Jim and Mary Voss; Scott DeFrancesco; and many cousins and friends, and her new puppy Ziggy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church, 522 Main Street, Marydel, Maryland 21649. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover, Delaware 19901. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, 2928 Sharon Hill Road, Dover, Delaware, 19904.
