Anna Lucille Tate Obituary
Anna Lucille Tate, of Dover and formerly of Millington, Md. died Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Westminster Nursing Home in Dover. She was 79.

Anna Lucille Tate was born May 9, 1937 in Pondtown, Md., the daughter of the late Weston Duckery and Ida "Tiller" Duckery. She attended Garnett High School through the 11th grade. Mrs. Tate married early in life to Authur Dempster Tate in 1954. Throughout her life she spent most of her time as a homemaker, however she did work periodically as a caregiver, in food service, for Campbell Soup and Upper Shore Community Health Center and also as a housekeeper. She was a past member of the Gospel Church of God and enjoyed bible study, watching TV, talking on the phone with friends and she was an avid reader.

She is survived by her children, Arthur Tate of Smyrna, Eileen Williams of Dover, Sarah Gibbs of San Antonio, Tex., Brian Tate of Chestertown, Md., son in law, Moses Gibbs of San Antonio, Tex., three grandchildren, Ja'na Tate, Voncel Tate, Joshua Williams, two sisters, Shirley Lively of Millington, Md., Evelyn Foster of Millington, Md., and one brother, William Duckery as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday, March 18, at 11 a.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Interment will follow the service in Chesterville Cemetery in Millington, Md.
