Donald Paul Boucek Obituary
Donald Paul Boucek, age 59, of Camden, passed away December 7, 2015, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.

Don was born December 15, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA, son of the late Rudolph and Mary Boucek. After graduating from West Allegheny High School and marrying his beloved wife, Donna, he moved to Delaware in 1978. Don worked in manufacturing for many years, including at Camdel Metals, before becoming a certified nursing assistant.

A gentle and kind soul, Don was deeply devoted to his family and his greatest joy was playing with his two young grandchildren. He always lent a smile and a helping hand to anyone in need, and his generous, positive spirit was a great comfort to all who knew him. Known especially for his delicious baked goods, Don loved fishing, bicycling by the shore, tending his garden, watching sports and building things.

Don was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Brown. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Donna Boucek, of Camden, his two daughters, Dawnyel (Gavin) Furlong and DonaRae Boucek, of Lewes, his two grandchildren, his brothers, Bernard Boucek of Chelmsford, MA, and John Boucek of Las Vegas, NV, and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Don's life on Tuesday December 15, 2015 at Nicola Pizza, 71 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, from 3-6 p.m., which is where Don had planned to celebrate his 60th birthday. Don enjoyed shopping for toys for his grandchildren. So that Don's generous love may also live on in other children's joy this holiday season, in lieu of flowers, please consider bringing an unwrapped toy to be donated to local charities.
