Dorothy Marie "Dottie" Moore Wilson Obituary
Dorothy Marie "Dottie" Moore Wilson of Woodside, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2014, with her family by her side. She was 67.

She was born on October 15, 1946, the fifth child to the late John C.D. Moore and Lillian V. (Glanden) Moore.
Dottie was a 1964 graduate of Caesar Rodney High School. She would have celebrated her 50 year class reunion in June.
Dottie worked at Playtex for 19 years before starting her lawn care business. She had her lawn care business for over 20 years and served 40 customers.

She enjoyed cutting grass, traveling, going to the slots, watching her favorite football player Peyton Manning, avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and going to NASCAR races cheering on her favorite driver Carl Edwards but most of all spending time with her six grandchildren, which were the love her life.

Dottie was preceded in death by her husband William J. Wilson, Sr. in 2009, her brothers, Carl R. Moore, Edward R. Moore and Thomas C. Moore.

She is survived by two sons: William J. Wilson Jr. and his wife Michele of Dover, and Bryan K. Wilson and his wife Fran of Magnolia; a daughter, Valerie L. Burd and her husband Douglas of Milford; six grandchildren Kaleb M. Burd, Andrew J. Wilson, Jacob O. Wilson, Dylan M. Wilson, Samantha M. Wilson and Kasie N. Burd; two brothers and sister in laws Johnny Moore and his wife Pat of Wyoming and Jerry Moore and his wife Patty of Wyoming; two sisters and brother in laws Mary Ann Stumpf and her husband Ronald of Felton and E. Ann Hansen and her husband David of Smyrna; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 6-9 pm Wednesday, May 28 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will 11 a.m. Thursday, May 29 at the funeral home with Rev. James Welsh officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.

The Wilson family would like to extend their gratitude to Delaware Hospice, Bayhealth 4th floor amazing staff and Dr. Naini and her staff at Bayhealth Cancer Center for their care, love and support during the period of her illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dottie's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or Bayhealth Cancer Center, 640 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901.
