James R. "Jamie" Moore Jr. Obituary
James R. "Jamie" Moore, Jr. of Clearwater Fla., passed from this earth on June 30, 2016 following a heart attack while working in New York City.

James was born July 9, 1966 in Dover. He was a 1984 graduate of Dover High School, followed by further education at Del Tech in Dover, then graduating from St. Petersburg Junior College in Florida where he resided for the last 28 years.

In his youth he enjoyed participating with the Little Creek Volunteer Fire Company and attended the Little Creek UMC. He was one of the first pizza delivery drivers for Pizza Delight, warehouse programmer for Capitol Office Supply and several odd jobs while living in Little Creek.

He became NASM certified, which blossomed into fitness gym management. He worked passionately and became skilled in IT, which powered his management and productivity skills for Sun Coast Roofing Supply, Lifestyle Family Fitness and ultimately with FlyWheel, where he advanced to Director of Inventory and Purchasing.

He enjoyed his volunteer work with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Pinellas County, Fla. He loved travel, cold beer and fine red wine. He and Greg were due to travel to Italy this month.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Franklin "Corkey" and Pearl Hurley; parental grandparents Franklin and Florence Moore; his father, James R Moore, Sr., and his Godfather, Dennis "Mousey" Hurley.

He is survived by his partner and soul mate Greg Capitano of Florida. His mom and dad Sandi John Bartsch of Dover; sister and brother-in-law Janel and David Przybysz of Hawaii; niece Shelby Sammons of Tennessee and nephew Dylan Przybysz of Hawaii; loving aunts and uncles and a host cousins that he loved and enjoyed growing up with.

A Celebration of Life was held on his birthday, Saturday, July 9, at the Little Creek Fire Hall. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Little Creek Ladies Aux., P.O. Box 328, Little Creek, DE 19961.
