John A. "Chief" Wieczorek Jr. Obituary
John A. Wieczorek, Jr. "Chief" of Camden, passed away in the comfort of his home, Monday, March 16, 2015. He was 72.

John was born January 13, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late John A. Wieczorek, Sr. and Elizabeth Olejarczyk Wieczorek.

He joined the United States Air Force at 19 and served all over the world for 30 years before retiring in 1992 as Chief Master Sargent. At that time, he and his family moved back to their home in Delaware, where they had been stationed twice before.

During his retirement, he went back to school and graduated SIU with a Bachelor Degree, something that had been a lifelong goal. All his life he loved bowling, playing horse shoes and cooking BBQ for his family and friends.

John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara E. Terenzi Wieczorek; children, Steven Wieczorek, his wife Kathleen and their daughter Morgan of Herdon, VA, Daniel Wieczorek of Newark, DE, and Susan Wieczorek of New Castle, DE; brother, Michael Wieczorek of Cleveland, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 4PM, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Dover Air Force Base, Chapel II, 1022 Old Lebanon Road, Dover, DE.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
